Spring Beach Grief & Loss Memorial Service
Our annual Spring Beach Memorial Day is usually held on a Saturday in early December, 2026 date is Saturday 5th December, see Flyer on our Events page here. It is an opportunity to reflect on grief and loss, to remember loved ones and friends, in a compassionate and supportive environment. We usually have a Guest Speaker from an organisation specialising in Mental Health, Suicide Prevention, with regular MC Ryk Goddard, Piper John Ralph, Maria Voices choir & a religious representative.
Attendees then have the opportunity to cast flowers and wreaths into the beautiful waters off Spring Beach. All followed by coffee & tea, homemade cakes, and a sausage sizzle, with a chance to have a chat with like minded attendees.
In 2025, Guest Speaker was Tanya Stephenson Advanced Grief Recovery Specialist based in Tasmania.
In 2024, Guest Speaker was Amanda Cuthbertson from Tasmanian Lifeline and Albie House in Tasmania.
