Network Project
The Network’s major Project over recent years is the provision
of Live Life Alarms to Glamorgan Spring Bay Community
Our long term project has been the funding assistance for “Live Life Alarms” the Network provides to local community members. This is organised through the Medical Clinics in Glamorgan Spring Bay.
The Network funds the major amount of each Alarm, with receivers only paying a small amount. At the moment just under 130 alarms have been funded through this program and are with members of the community who need this service.
LiveLife Mobile Alarms, can be either a Pendant around your neck or a Watch, and are Simple Mobile Safety item that operates via the Australian Mobile Phone system.
Help is just a press of a button away. Perfect for seniors who like to be independent and active. Simple to use & works almost everywhere. It includes an inbuilt fall detection that automatically alerts contacts with your location; has a One touch SOS Emergency Call; it can Call & text up to 6 contacts and can call 000.
The Network greatly appreciates our regular fund raisers for this, which together with successful Grant applications has made this worthwhile project achievable.
